Maori Hill

An existing cottage occupying the full street frontage with existing use rights allowed functional use of the long and narrow site. Once the owners outlived the existing house options consisted of extending on to a run-down cottage or a new build fitting within the current district zone rules. With the building platform now six metres wide and 40 metres long sits a new three-bedroom house across three split levels with light flooding in through pop-up skylights throughout the house.
